How to Nail Your Double Exposures with a 35mm SLR - 2nd Edition
Learn how to take perfectly aligned two-steps double exposures in a 35mm film SLR with manual film advance. Two-step double-exposures describes the process of shooting a roll of film, rewinding the roll, and putting the film back in the camera to expose it a second time. Could be another day, another year or in a totally different location. You can pass it on to a friend for the second exposure to do a film swap, it’s all up to you! The advantage of this technique is that you will always align your photos perfectly. And it’s a great technique for film swaps! With this technique, when you load the roll a second time, you can only shoot double-exposures on that pre-exposed roll. It can be a fun way to make happy accidents happen! What I love about this technique is that it works on most SLR cameras - and even on some cameras that are not SLRs!
